2. What data and why

When you write to us through the enquiry form or by email, we process:

  • your name and email address,
  • a link to the application and what it is built with (optional),
  • the text of your message.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We use the data only to handle your enquiry and to communicate about it, and where relevant to prepare a contract. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); for general questions, our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not use the data for advertising or for automated decision-making, and we do not profile you.

4. Operational data about a visit

When you visit the site, the server and the hosting infrastructure may record ordinary operational data (IP address, time and address of the request, browser type) to run and secure the site. The site uses no analytics or advertising tools. Details of browser storage are on the Cookies page.

5. Retention

We keep an enquiry for as long as it takes to handle it. If a contract is made, we keep the data for the duration of the contractual relationship and the statutory periods. If no contract is made, we delete the enquiry data no later than 12 months after the last contact.

6. Recipients

We do not pass the data to third parties for their own purposes. Email and hosting providers process it as processors under a contract. Should a processor be based outside the European Economic Area, we will ensure a lawful transfer mechanism.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access the data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Send a request to hello@bhpslabs.com.

If you believe the processing breaks the rules, you can lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.gov.cz).

8. Obligation to provide data

You provide the data voluntarily. Without a name and an email address, however, we cannot reply.
